Sorry my German is not good enough (yet). I'm going to move in a town where Quicklime is the only provider for cable internet (no Fiber and VDSL is slow as hell). When I order there is a choice of WLAN router or not, I use already a very good router with WiFi AP under OpenWRT so I want the modem to be as dumb as possible and as compact as possible (to fit in the electrical cabinet where Ethernet is dispatched to all rooms), so I can relay all the routing and WiFi to my router. What model will I get if I don't tick the WLAN option and what model will I get if I do tick it?
Then how easy it is to redirect the modem to my router so I cab keep my port forwarding, DHCP and bandwidth priority configuration without influence of the modem?
