2.5Gbps Port Sageam

Hello guys

I am living in a place where the fastest internet is 1gb/200mb from Cauxial cable and using QL for a few years now

to improve my connection i use Sagemcom st 3890 v3 in Bridge mode adding 3 nodes ( ASUS XT9 and XT12 )
since both my Routers have 2 X 2.5Gbps and I have a Synology with 2 × 2.5GBps NAS I am very limited to 1 GB Sagemcom router which has only Gigabit ports and does not work in any way of aggregation etc.

my only option in my address is QL via TV cable, is there a way to ignore and remove completely the QL router and use my RT to coax MoCA 2.5 adapter to ethernet to get 2.5GBps?

No, Quickline doesn’t support nor provision DOCSIS 3.0 / 3.1 routers or modems from customers. You have to use their equipment. I don’t understand your benefit from the 2.5 GBaseT connection to your router. Your internet speed will still be limited to 1000/200 Mbit/s. There’s no benefit for you.

What I don’t understand is your Setup: You are using three separate Routers connected to the Sagecom Router in bridge mode?? You have 3 routers with 3 different Public IPv4 ? This setup doesn’t make sense. You should connect the WAN port of one of your routers to the Sagecom and the rest to the LAN port of the routers or use a 2.5 GBaseT-Switch.

MOCA: This is not the standard to use, it’s DOCSIS.

point 1 clear can use only their 4 years old device as bridge mode

It not to has better speed but transfers big files from NAS >< PC with 2.5 or 2 × 2.5G( i have NAS, Switch, and PC all with 2 X 2.5G)

idea is Their device 1G port to RT 2.5G to Switch ( Tenda with 8 × 2.5G) from Switch to NAS 2.5

Rt WAN 2.5 from XT12 main router via cable to Sagecom >> rest are nodes Aimesh and are in different rooms

Your setup should be: Sagecom DOCSIS 3.1 Modem / Router in bridge mode => 2.5 GBaseT-WAN-Port of your ZenWiFi Pro XT12 (working at 1 Gbit/s) => 2.5 GBase-T-LAN-Port of your ZenWiFi Pro XT12 => Tenda 2.5-GBaseT-Switch. On the switch you should connect the rest of your devices. The communication between your devices happens on Layer 2 (Ethernet) e.g on the switch itself, so it should be at 2.5 Gbit/s already. You should hardwire the rest of your devices (e.g XT9 or XT12) instead of using the mesh system or wireless backhauling if possible. There’s an awful lot of mesh nodes in your setup, even in your kid’s bedroom. I don’t know your house or flat, but it seems completely overkill.

its a very weird situation in my flat , if i remove the node in my kids’ room and have one node in the office i will get less than 50Mbit/s , bought the XT12 few days ago because of this reason and now everywhere I have a good connection

Unfortunately not very easy to wire this flat, tried already, in master room which is close my office there is no TV socket and rest is a mess , seems like after renovation they locked few canals, i always hit a dead point
